 People with disabilities and special needs are welcome and included in all church activities.
Our people are trained to understand, respect, and include those with various disabilities. Our facilities are accessible.
We have plenty of handicapped accessible parking, wheelchair doors, wheelchair cutouts throughout our auditorium, a ramp to the platform in the auditorium, ground level baptismal, and a State of Arizona certified sign language interpreter with 48 hours notice.
Periodic training is provided to church members and those in our community on various special needs and disabilities including the grieving process, ADHD, autism, diabetes, mental illness, blindness, deafness, Down’s Syndrome, and many others.
One-on-one teaching in self-contained classrooms, and aides in age appropriate classrooms, are available to help each individual with a disability feel loved and reach their fullest potential in learning Biblical truths and participating in our church family.
We believe that parents of special needs children are the experts on their child and we value their opinions on the best way to teach and include their child in a loving environment.
